Stern Tube Seal Replacement:Breakwater Diving Services is the service partner for Dutch based Company UPE; Underwater Propulsion Engineers. All traditional Stern Tube Seal systems can be repaired while your Vessel is afloat. UPE employ the SealDock® / inflatable habitat that fits around the stern shaft to ensure a dry environment is created for the seal replacement. Breakwater Diving Services together with an alliance of multiple companies based in South Africa, has UPE equipment stored in Cape Town South Africa and is ready to mobilize to any large Port on our coast at a very short notice. UPE’s seal bonding procedure has been acknowledged by all major Classification societies.
Contaminated Water Diving:Nuclear Diving, Biological Reactors, Sewer Ponds…This is a highly specialized side of our business. Services include inspection , repair and maintenance diving works in Nuclear and Biological Reactors.
Marine Civils:Diver dredging, Shuttering, Service Gate Installations, Blanking of Intakes, Marine foundations, Concrete column construction, Sub-sea concrete. We have been involved with major civil diving projects, from constructing harbour walls to slip ways.
CCTV & Photographic Surveys:Close-up visual inspections, Close-up structural inspections, MPI (Metal Particle inspection), Hull inspections for class extensions, CCTV and still photography, Cygnus – thickness gauging. We offer a wide range of under water inspections. With turnkey underwater photographic and N.D.T equipment." |
