"Offshore & Inshore Diving / Contractor (IMCA) / Offshore Diving: Subtech’s Subsea Division was started in 2002 and operated in Africa and the Middle East, servicing clients such as Maersk Oil, Shell, NPCC and Qatar Petroleum. During this period we were also involved extensively in the Gulf of Mexico with Hurricane Katrina clean-up operations. This high profile project broadened our experience and knowledge base, and forged invaluable international relationships and networks, thereby further enhancing our reputation as a reliable and trusted service provider. Our policies and procedures (SHEQ) have been vetted against the most stringent requirements in the oil and gas industry and the company is a full IMCA member. Subtech maintains an extensive database of over 300 personnel that includes qualified offshore engineers, IMCA certified supervisors and divers, ROV pilots and NDT personnel. Subtech’s Subsea Division offers the following services: Subsea engineering, Integrated inspection and repair services, Project management, Personnel supply, Logistics, Equipment supply, QAQC/HSE // Marine Civils: Our engineering and construction teams have collectively been involved in most of the port construction that has taken place in Southern Africa since 1995. Subtech offers a full range of marine construction services including marine piling support, scour protection, confined dredging and capital dredging support, underwater demolitions, underwater concreting, preparation of caisson beds and caisson placement.
